Nah, America will destroy itself from within. No longer worried about these guys.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, well... They might try to take over when we are down by our own stupidity
@seeUpee, them trying would probably be the thing we need to finally pull together.
@ThePandaPool , true that, if anyone's been paying attention today, fvcknut Romney wants us to go back to save the Afghanis, after we peaced out of our airbase and left all new equipment. That was coincidentally was picked up by enemy factions and is now being used against the people. Let them handle their own problems, I'm tired of being world police.
@ThePandaPool , Is that the nation version of "Maybe a kid will fix this broken marriage?"
@Mag3rPayne, trust me nobody else wants you to play "world police" either. Especially when american wars have nothing to do with helping anyone, but themselves, or bringing "freedom".
Which i think goes for almost every country. Sending a large amoint of troops, simply out of the good of their heart, is not very realistic.
@Mag3rPayne, hell yeah, if it was important to them, they would have fought for it. It seems as though they just prefer it that way. Sadly though, it’s starting to look the same here. People keep handing over more and more power to the government. It’s sad.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, Have you seen the Republican Party? Already there. Gonna kill us all because people are anti vaxxers now.
Trust me. I'm a doctor and a covid information war veteran. I just stopped caring to argue the same argument. There was nearly a riot when a doctor in my wife's hometown advocated for masks in school during a school board meeting, it passed and the anti-maskers threatened his life and followed him to parking lot heckling him. It made national news. This was a doctor... someone who no doubt knows more than the average idiot but it doesn't matter anymore. People had rather have their kids get covid than admit their argument is stupid at this point. Freedom to the left: freedom from being offended. Freedom to the right: freedom from inconvenience.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, Saying I'm a doctor, does not always mean you are correct, Doctors were happy over prescribing pain meds for years and probably ruined a lot of lives in the process. Everything right now is either pro, or anti. There shouldnt be this much faith in one size fits all approach to medicine. Plenty of historical evidence of times when doctors that shared consensus got it wrong and caused harm in the long run over temporary relief in the short. Cocaine, heroine, AZT, vaginal mesh, accutane. Medical errors have been a major leading cause of death for a while now.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, I get you. Some people are just too stubborn and rather watch the world burn than admit fault.
Reminder to vote third party!
@MrTuxPenguin, Yes, I am always open to vote independent, because I believe the 2 sides collude all the time for their own benefit. Like the issue I stated above. They use emotion to make it seem like war is the more peaceful option...then after they blow everything up they gift their families with contractor job approvals to go and fix it.
@MrTuxPenguin, Republicans: government shouldn't encroach/control our lives
Also Republicans (governors of FL, TX others) : if a school district mandates masks, we'll withhold their pay.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, Republicans: business should be free to do what they want.
Business don’t support their politics.
Republicans: ban cococola in Georgia.
@Mag3rPayne, Right! I hear ~43% of people are registered independent. If we all vote independent we can break the cycle!
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, France is dealing with there vaccine passport issues, by just eating at home and letting businesses suffer, both vaccinated and unvaccinated together.
@Purecell, there’s plenty of us that don’t want to be the world’s police and none of us voted for Biden.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, I’m a doctor too, and I’m astounded by the number of my colleagues who don’t understand respiratory viral transmission, mask efficacy, or vaccine mechanisms. My experience is doctors are just as vulnerable to tribalism and choosing the “evidence” based on political preferences as everyone else.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, you keep on telling the facts about covid! I'm listening and always looking for any info I can get. If you have sources on info I'd like to hear it. I'm five days away from getting my second pfaser covid shot. I was just looking at some polls taken on why Americans won't get the vaccine, and the percentage is high in Republicans and lower educated Americans. Not saying they're dumb or anything... I feel it's a word of mouth thing and they trust a family member or friend with the information they get instead of looking for themselves.
@Hot Coffee, I think we've discussed this before and I doubt we'll break any new ground but you're correct. In my current job, I speak to leukemia doctors and it's interesting to see how practice patterns change depending on location. MDs at Mayo Clinic treat differently than Emory University treat differently than U. Of Alabama. Most have a sound reason for what they do. Most people have no idea what evidence is with covid and are only repeating what they heard in their political circles. Respect and cooler heads tend to prevail regardless of background though.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, something something screeching political rant
@DistractedDingo, I keep wondering how this became political though...
Thanks for the downvotes, spongeblade. I hope that makes you feel better.
@Mag3rPayne, agreed. That shjt has been happening since the 80s. It was all to fight the soviets and here nearly 40 years later. It's still bitting us in the ass. That country can never be tamed. Even Russia told Americans this. They showed us when they were occupying Afghanistan decades ago.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, the school system is still part of the “government”. No one with a political science or English degree should have fvck all to say about this “pandemic”.
@FuccanA, Yes, hesitancy is on a curve though, lower education levels tend to be more hesitant (Your Qanon 5g alarmist types), then it's hesitancy falls as education level rises until it peaks around masters degrees, then hesitancy increases again as education levels keep going, from JDs until you reach PhDs(read the data and made their choice) which have stayed at a constant rate of hesitancy over the longest amount of time.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, when Trump was in office, there was a flurry of media and Tweety birds going unhinged saying they would never take a vaccine promoted by Trump, including Kamala who said it on live TV during the debates, Republicans kept calling them anti-vax science deniers. if you can recall the FDA kept delaying the rollout until after inauguration, then all of a sudden the world shifted and it was Biden the Savior, the man with the plan to get us back on track. Fill up my veins, Corn pop! Idk what happened but it's been fun to observe.
@Mag3rPayne, I wasn't talking to you, but thank you for you unwelcomed opinion. Feel free to chime in anytime you want, Karen!
@Mag3rPayne, would you like to talk to the manager? Mabey you just need a hug.
It's not my opinion, follow the science, sludgeblood.
@FuccanA, adults were engaging civil discussion. Please take your midwit replies to the next meme, and have a nice day, thank you for browsing FunnyPics. Perhaps you would prefer Reddit or TikTok. Their clientele is more your style.
@Mag3rPayne, I didn't make myself clear enough I suppose. I wasn't asking for you opinion or your back water science (your vehicle extended warranty is going to expire) bull shjt. I was talking to someone else. Shut the fvck up and leave me be. I won't be this nice again. Got it?
@Mag3rPayne, you expect people to respect your opinion after that?
@Mag3rPayne,are that user with the "crisis actor" user name or something with all the conspiracies and shjt?!?
@FuccanA, just handing out studies my dude, it is the actual study you were talking about earlier, read it if you want to understand what you were talking about out of context. You went unhinged there for a moment.
@Mag3rPayne, yep, you are. Changed your name I see. Still in Vegas?
@Mag3rPayne, didn't ask for your back water study's, bud. STFU next time.
@FuccanA, Major Payne was a Comedy from the 90s, I spell it mag3r because of a WoW mage with this moniker. I've had this name my entire time on this app which has been years, I have no idea who you think I am hothead. You jump off the cuff like some kid in an Xbox lobby about to threaten to bang my mom. I'm glad I can't count on your future support, downvoting me on this app for the grudge you now hold against me, by believing I am now some dude who is apparently still living rent free in your head.
@Mag3rPayne, yep your him! That's exactly what would say.
@Mag3rPayne, "something crisis actor" or something like that. Stop commenting your bullshjt on my comments, pale. I don't want your weird opinions, got it?
@Mag3rPayne, you do whatever weird shjt you do and leave me out of all that.
@FuccanA, I'm glad I helped you reunite with your fantasy nemesis. If but only for a moment, you got to reminisce about the times you totally owned that dumb crisis actor dude in the comments. You're welcome.
@Purecell, How many accounts do you have on this app? Stop spreading shjt here.
@Hot Coffee, yes you did, in fact more than half of you voted for him. As much as i dislike Trump, i gotta give one thing to him, a sentence he understands well and us exceptional at using it. "Perception is Reality."
@FuccanA, only one kid and i rarely comment, cause A: I'm here for the funny and B: People like you make discussions very unproductive and by god there's a lotta yous here nowadays.
@FuccanA, Dude, relax. This isn’t how you win a discussion. Everyone is allowed to put their two-sense.
@Mag3rPayne, the taliban now has the third largest fleet of black hawk helicopters in the world.
@payton manning, 20 years training the afghan military, Biden is blaming Trump for wanting to get out in March. Trump had made a deal with them, Biden cancelled that deal and delayed until July. So he had more time to prepare, and to remove/disable equipment that was left behind. The base fell withing 24 hours after we extracted and allowed the Taliban to gain all those supplies. IMO this was intentional. Military industrial complex needs to conflict to stay in business. Also it pissed the Taliban off even more when Biden delayed the agreed upon extraction date.
@Mag3rPayne, So I'll be honest, I wasn't aware that Kamala said that but it's annoyingly contrarian. That's why i hate politics in matters like these... it introduces something to disagree about just for the sake of disagreement. It's not productive and a waste of time. I do disagree that the vaccines were rolled out after inauguration. Pfizer approved 12/11/2020 and we started giving them a week later. Pretty cool.
I'll discuss covid-19 with anyone as long as it's respectful and based on reality. Thanks for sharing and being respectful.
@philbert15, true but now we get into what encroachment is... if a school system decides to manage masks to decrease spread and keep kids in school but a governor intervenes and withholds pay, is this not government encroachment?
I definitely agree with your last point.
@Mag3rPayne, not trying to start anything here, but when Trump was in office, it seemed like democrats were against the vaccine. Now that Biden is in office, it's republicans that are against it. Just something I've noticed.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, my apologies, I misremembered. I believe I meant to say post election. If you can remember, trump kept hinting at an October surprise about the vaccine trials. Hoping it would move the election in his favor.
@110100100, many have noticed this, most people generalize dem vs rep as everyone in the party having the exact same mindset. Their are dems that are against certain party issues and vice versa. It all depends on which voices get amplified by the media that morphs public perception.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, also I tend to see people referring to trump supporters as cultists who only follow whatever edict he lays out for them. If this were the case all trump supporters would be vax to the max. Trump is proud of the warpspeed plan, and has no problem taking credit for it and promoting the vaccines.
@Dangerous Dan Spivey, I actually think it’s a slippery slope either way. In this case, the governor is siding with parents wanting to have the choice. Therefore I’m for that decision. Solid point though
And those are just our shooters that aren’t on drugs.
@A Deformed Penis, when they add a freestyle shooting event, we can go to Chicago to assemble a team.
@A Deformed Penis, and can pass mental exams
Remember we don’t fvck around
There’s a very big difference in competition shooting where it’s quiet and you can concentrate, and shooting in war where things are blowing up around you, people are screaming and dying, and you’re scared shîtless.
We've had a lot of training in public areas. Glad to see it all paid off
