@sir killjoy, part 1 is one of my all time favorite games and definitely better, but I really don’t understand the hate for part 2. The gameplay is objectively better, it’s scarier, it’s one of the best looking games I’ve ever seen, it’s just more fun to play moment to moment. The story is not near as good, but people were way too hard on part 2.

@Sappy Poop Stain, part 2 is absolutely epic on PS5 with the Pulse headset on. Absolutely immersive. I don't really do horror games like this, but I absolutely loved it. Streamed most of it, but it looks no where near as good on the YouTube stream

@Sappy Poop Stain, From what I can tell it’s because the story is worse. *Spoilers* They killed off Joel in a pretty pathetic way and made us play as his killer for a significant portion of the game. In addition the story preaches a generic “revenge bad. forgiveness good.” message, when it should be far more nuanced. I’ll admit the gameplay and atmosphere were definitely better, but many people just couldn’t accept its flaws

@Langenator, I thought killing off Joel wasnt the worst thing ever. Strengthened the plot, and made the 2 main characters hatred for one another feel legitimized.
