This is cruel. You can't deprive a natural born carnivore of meat. A cat can't get nutrition from vegetables like people can because their bodies can't break it down. Vegans are ok most of the time but now someone is imposing their own choices on a cat.
@Limerickrolled, Vegan people don't get enough nutrition either, because they're lacking the right amount of protein, needed to keep their bones & organs strong. So, by making a cat vegan, it will eventually not be strong enough to ever go outside again or defend itself from other animals, it's just not the way a cat is meant to live..
@Limerickrolled, my dad was a tree planter and this vegan hippie couple had a vegan beagle. On day my dad and some other tree planters found a dead deer, so they brought the beagle to it. Later the beagle returned to the camp with a huge deer leg in its mouth, tail wagging. The hippies actually got quite mad.
@Limerickrolled, not long ago a vegan couple nearly killed their cat with a vegan diet
@Metzger, yes they do. You can be perfectly fine (even healthier than normal) as vegan. It just takes work. I don't not, however, keep meat products from my dogs because they do need it. Humans don't.
@Pmail, you'd think that was true, but a vegan would not fare as well in a fight against a meat eater, nor in a car accident, your bones need more than just calcium suppliment pills to stay strong..
@Metzger, Vegans can get calcium from plenty of foods. One example is dark green leafy vegetables.
@Frogxds, there's more than just the one thing that vegans are lacking the proper amount of. But hey, this was an easy game of "spot the vegan"
@Pmail, Keep telling yourself that weakling.
@Metzger, Fun fact, I am not a vegan. But I would like to hear what else they are missing.
@gopsteve, lol, ok
@Metzger, protein? Take a look at a can of say kidney beans and tell me how much protein is in it...I'll wait. (By the way I am not vegan or vegetarian, just have been health conscious for years since heart disease runs in my family. And would never keep meat away from my pets. Cats specifically need taurine which is found in meat.)
@Demacsspider, canned beans usually do have a good amount of protein, BUT- canned vegetables contain preservatives & some animal fats for flavour (mainly in beans). So, a true vegan would never touch canned things. Perhaps frozen vegetables would be a better fit, since they lack preservatives & such.
@Nagato Uzumaki, Your right, they truly can't live.
@Zhao the Poon Slayer, no you're wrong. Humans cannot have a purely vegan diet. You likely take some pills to help supplement your diet, and those pills contain egg byproduct or something similar to get vitamin K, not present in any plant or fruit.
No comments are needed. The cat says it all.
@GrandCarnifex, then why did you comment?
@Captain Kirk Hinrich, because weebles wobbles but they don't fall down.
@Captain Kirk Hinrich, some people just need to steak the obvious
What are you trying to pull, human? I won't be vegan when I eat your corpse.
Plot twist: the cat food is actually meat of vegans...
@TheButterCutter, is this a proof of you are what you eat?
Can someone please, please, please Photoshop "grumpy cat" onto the can? Please?
@gopsteve, sorry, I only have Paint.
Seems like the cat may be looking at the photographer as dinner
Does he talk about being vegan or hating humans first?
That is the happiest vegan cat
