* walks past them with 5 cow corpses* im gonna eat it all and im gonna enjoy it knowing you hate me
I mean sure "meat is murder", but vegetarianism is genocide. If we stopped eating cows, which we have bred to be defenceless walking shish kabobs, the whole species would go extinct. They have no horns, camouflage, poison, speed, or toughness to them that other wild herbivores have. So either we continue to eat them or they go extinct. Check mate, PETA.
@TheNightShifter, cows are a leading cause of methan gas in the atmosphere, cutting out beef would slow down climate change at least a bit
@lemongrenade, for sure. That's why vegetarians doing their own thing is actually pretty good. Trying to enact the whole population to follow in their footsteps creates an intentional species extinction.
@TheNightShifter, I think we can agree that the Earth would do a lot better with us off it, cause it's a lose lose either way, all that changes is how far away our loss will be
@lemongrenade, actually your mom is the leading cause of methane
@WelI Obviously, completely unrelated, but I feel connected to you on a fraternal level.
@WelI Obviously, im pretty sure my sister is, not my mom
@Blatantly Obvious, wanna hang out? Have some bevs?
@WelI Obviously, well obviously. That should be blatantly obvious
@Blatantly Obvious, ayyyyeee 😎👍
@lemongrenade, how do you know?! 😳
@lemongrenade, but if we don't eat beef, there's more cows alive, and then cows become overpopulated. That means more methane gas, which means more climate change. Eating beef is saving the atmosphere.
@TheNightShifter, not totally true. While you're right about them being bred to be like that there are plenty of populations of wild cows in other parts of the world. These cows are all under the species Bos taurus. Before you say check mate, check your facts
@TheNightShifter, whats more inhumane? Letting then die out, or breeding them for death endlessly. A slave race.
@fuvk this, the humane thing would be to keep the statis quo, because if you try to take my meat away, I will start a civil war! F the elections and politics, don't touch my meat!
@Oujosh29, What politics and the election have any thing to do with this conversation lol?
@TheNightShifter, thanks for the smbc rewrite
@Oujosh29, but what if your girlfriend wants to touch your meat?
@TheNightShifter, they don't eat cows in parts of India, and they still have them. Plus, if we didn't farm cows, we'd keep them in zoos and stuff. Which is kind of funny, when you think about it.
@TheNightShifter, yep. Now go slap that bull on the ass.
@K1lgore, part of my joke. Wont revolt over anything like politics, but will if they try to take away my meat.
@gaemboi, my wife is allowed, and jessica alba, thats it.
@fuvk this, this is what I was about to say. Cows have been bred to mass overpopulation just for the sake of human consumption, and now people use the excuse "Hur dur if we don't kill them nature will because they are so overpopulated". Well what would have happened if cows weren't genetically modified or bred to feed millions of Americans? We forced them to be the way they are, we can't say without us they would all be dead anyways...
@Tipathearrow, talking about the black angus/Dairy cow. It's a subspecies. They do not function in the wild.
@lemongrenade, I'm sure the rotting corpses of (not figuratively) literally billions of farm animals won't affect the environment at all
Though I haven't done a study on the whole effect and possible repercussions. I would support enclosing farms and harvesting methane though
@TheNightShifter, okay well that's also false because the black angus cattle breed (which is still Bos taurus) originates from Scotland, where they do in fact roam wild. Also dairy cattle originate from parts of Switzerland, Scotland, and France where they are also found wild
@Tipathearrow, okay awesome nice geography pal it's still a genocide of The North American cow subspecies. They would be overpopulated and nutrition would be a scarcity.
@TheNightShifter, yeah so one population becomes extirpated. Back to your original point, the species wouldn't go extinct
@TheNightShifter, and the genocide of the cattle we have for food and milk would be so small compared to all the animals that are going to die for food in the future
@Sybil Reisz, not true at all, thats what climate deniers say
@lemongrenade, the duck is a climate denier? How do you deny the climate? What, do you just yell at the sky, screaming "You don't exist!" at the atmosphere?
@Sybil Reisz, climate change denier, you knew exactly what i meant
@TheNightShifter, do you honestly still believe that PETA understands or even responds to logic
@lemongrenade, but it's been scientifically proven that the climate changes, and my original comment was only using the logic of the person it was replying to.
@TheNightShifter, more importantly we may be killing them for food but at least we aren't taking all of their food. Vegetarians only eat vegetables, which is the main food source of most of the animals that we eat. We may be killing to eat them but they're starving them for no good reason at all.
@TheNightShifter, we raise beef cattle. They are not defenseless
@TheNightShifter, also, its just a fact of life. In fact, I even saw this one meme saying "even plants eat meat" towards vegans, and it's true. Eating meat is one way to also control an animal population to keep them from overpopulating an environmental and eating all the plants, the food of vegans, so basically meat lovers are helping you keep yo precious tofu and greens, you hypocrites. Also, meat is helps people get stronger muscles and bones you know. Do ya want to get beat up?
It's painful for the cow if they aren't milked. Twice a day is fine. Three times is too much.
@Spider4x, cows only produce milk when they are pregnant, the same as humans. So cows are forcibly impregnated over and over again to keep producing milk. then a machine is hooked up to them which not only milks them constantly, but also pulls the pus and blood from their udders. I agree with you on the fact that 1 or 2 times a day is good for a cow naturally producing milk, like on a small farm, but the milk you get from a super market is milked from cows that are milked for hours on end. Not trying to argue or spread hate, just giving facts.
@Zahnoir, not to mention the mental anguish that mother goes through every time the calf they just gave birth to is taken away from them.
@Zahnoir, humans can produce milk long after they've been pregnant. Indefinitely in fact. Some mothers breast feed their kids until they're 5 or 6. The body will stop producing milk when the need stops. It is the same with cows. This whole forced pregnancy thing was BS made up by the hypocrites at PETA.
@Couch Ornament, source: worked plenty of dairy farms as a teen.
@Couch Ornament, oh. And we do rest them for a time and when they calve again start them up. The quality of the milk does start to decline after about 10 months. But no, they're not constantly inseminated and nor are they constantly on the machines.
@Couch Ornament, worked at every dairy in America while you were a teen huh?
@Couch Ornament, that's the problem with a lot of city folk, they have no idea how farms really work and are fed spoonfuls of lies
@Mumen Rider , don't have to work at all of them to know the routine. Not to mention the rules.
@Couch Ornament, yo dude, you think you got all the facts just cuz you “worked” dairy farms as a fvcking teen. You’re not smart
Then can I milk you to save cows?
@Lastmanonearth, mmmm mommy milk
Survival of the fittest. We should take care of our home, but we don't need to be a bunch of pacifists to respect our world. Animals die and get eaten all the time, we just made that more efficient for us to grow.
@I Dexios Divine I, That's likes saying a german under the Nazi rule can kill Jews cz it'll happen anyway so nothing we can do about it. I am vegetarian and I don't really care if other people eat meat but your argument sucks
@Factory BOY, that's not similar at all lol
@I Dexios Divine I, It is though, you're saying animals die no matter what so it's okay if we also kill them
@Factory BOY, no animals, including us are in the circle of life. We're a bigger population and we're evolved. So we need more. We don't really need to eat meat, a pescetarian diet is objectively a better one for us to follow, but we like meat. Just because we do things at a larger scale doesn't mean we can't enjoy eating animals. We might eventually get away from eating animals, but I don't see how us just doing what other animals do ( killing and eating ) is some how evil. If we're talking ethics, then yeah improvements needed. But killing and eating is apart of nature
@I Dexios Divine I, no, animals*
@I Dexios Divine I, omg, a part*
@I Dexios Divine I, I never said its evil, I questioned your logic. The problem is that we are doing it on a larger scale, you justification of eating meat is you enjoy it, which is fine. When you say animals die and get eaten all the time you make it sound like therefore its okay to just carry on that process because it natural. Your logic does not work because it, unlike the rest of the time, is not necessary, it therefore becomes unnatural to kill. It is not the same when a Lion hunts and when a human farms animals and you made it sound the same. That idea of just carrying on with a natural system does not work, hence your logic doesn't work
@Factory BOY, comparing anything to the holocaust is going to get associated with evil. We have to do it on a larger scale if we want meat, there is no other way. Our diet for it is going to change for a long time or maybe never. We need the food so we need the larger scaling, there is no other way to get the quantity. It doesn't matter what we decide our main diet to be, it has to be a large scale. Saying it's wrong to do that is just stupid
@I Dexios Divine I, Yes, we need large scale farming, but that is a different justification to the one you used, I was pointing out the one you used is wrong.
@Factory BOY, well I'm not getting you, so I'm not gonna reply anymore
Lets not cry over spilt milk
Not to mention the horrible sores, calluses and no room to move while being sucked on by horrible metal machine.
Someone needs to tell them to MOOOOVE out of the way
Well the fact is dairy cows are fed and completely immobilized they die from exhaustion because they do not get exercise usually around the age of 4. I myself don't drink milk because I'm lactose intolerant so I have to drink almond milk :(
I'd happily buy steak and milk in front of these losers. "Go protest our genocide against greens because of salads. Plants are alive too, jack wagons."
While technically we don't have to eat meat, so what? We want to. Just because we can live without something isn't a good reason to not do that something. And for dinner tonight, buffalo chicken, mmmmm.
Oh, and you're analogy was wrong. We're eating a completely different species that is bred for food, killing a fellow human is different.
I can see their bones. Bitches need to wash down a bacon cheese burger with a glass of milk.
Time to play spot the vegan!
Animal suffering you say? It's white and comes from a big sack with pointy flesh tips. That's not animal suffering it's actually beastiality.
Dairy cows are kept pregnant for 5 years until they die
They are talking about violence not murder. To make milk a cow has to be pregnant. They do this by taking the male cows who grow the biggest and that cow rapes the females to be able for her to produce milk.
The one on the right has a cracking body
Well that's embarrassing
Can you pass me some 2% violence?
Maybe they would be smarter if they ate more protein
I don't care that there are vegans. I can't fix stupid. But you'd think if you were going to protest, make signs and go to the store with your stupid significant other one of you stupid would fact check something. Shoot. Google is free. Use it.
