You could swap Soviet and German, and the meme would still work.
@ThePandaPool , the soviets weren’t really in that bad of a position in 1945, children would’ve been part of the war machine but in similar roles to that of other allied countries (with the exception of some very metal 15-17 year olds, who lied about their age) doing basic work to support the national industry and agricultural efforts. Like in the US children were encouraged to find recyclable materials that were thrown out and deposit them at a location where he party could move them for reuse. Rubber, silk, metals, and high quality fabrics were of particular value and would sometimes warrant an award.

Then they wonder why they lost
@PoliticsGuard, at that point, they already lost and couldn't accept it.
@BeerForBreakfast, realistically they lost any shot of winning in 1941 when the soviets pushed them back from Moscow, and then shortly after were beaten by the British at El Alamein, then to make it even better for the allied forces, the US then landed at Casablanca, flanking the Africa Korps. Failing to take Moscow quickly meant the war in the east would last long, something Germany couldn’t afford, and failing to take the Suez Canal + Gibraltar meant the allies could squeeze Europe from the south and East, and Germany failed to capture the oil fields they would need for war for an extended period of time.
Doesn’t be mean “you will”?
