Perhaps this is VRChat. And he is actualy getting love from a person. Just someone far away?
@Mr Literal, wow, you know what man, that’s really nice.
@Mr Literal, official headcanon
@Mr Literal, I choose to believe that this is the case
My life as of now :(
Someone already had the Vive Pro?
This is like super depressing when you think about it. Considering such technology is in development, many who are unable to find someone who truely cares about them may turn to ai for comoanionship. But despite the fact that the ai may truely care about me like no one else in life has, it will never be the same as a real person. So id keep going back into this vr thing day after day looking for something they long for and never finding it, losing themselves in this world to the point where they dont even care about life anymore.
@Darth Panserbjorne, modern women are just so independent that they don’t want any man so this’ll be man’s only true alternative which shows how empty real women are now.
@Soser5, i would definately hesitate to use blanket phrases like that.
This is so Ready Player One. Which I’m impatiently waiting for.
I can see Japan’s population dwindling down even further with this technology
@megamanx181x, women are just needy, whiny holes that demand everything for nothing.
In serious matter about your comment I wonder how would Japan be able to replenish their population as i myself heard that most of its population are elderly and I heard somewhere early to middle teens, I wonder would they get people from neighboring China or South Korea or elsewhere to help?
@Sand1998, seriously from what I been reading they have no solution other then to grant citizenship to outsiders who want to permanently live there. However due to their pride they refuse that notion, so it’s going to get pretty bad and probably won’t consider it until they actually feel the damage.
Man pride is a serous killer and it's unfortunate that it is very likely that the Japanese people won't address this issue probably until the end
@Sand1998, pride and essence their passive nature of accepting strict culture norms. You be surprised just how repetitive and routine their lives are, while it has granted them a beautiful revival of their country after WWII only now it’s affecting the current generation. Men are shut ins who have given up after all the stress of educational expectations and working an office jobs. They refuse to work and stay at home playing games and watching anime and their parents ALLOW it because it’s not normal to be out spoken or negative. The women are taking advantage of the education expectations and are taking the high salary positions but don’t want to become married stay at home moms. Even the ones who do want relationships say the masculinity of the Japanese men has dropped dramatically that there’s no point for them to date.
That's the thing with accepting strict culture norms it can be a double edge sword and an extremely dangerous one at that. I'm from a middle eastern household(Egypt and Palestine proud of it tbh) so in terms of "culture norms" we stay at a certain level and to be honest we never will accept certain things of the world that people say are better for us due to our pride and culture just like the Japanese.
Unfortunately now with norms like U say in Japan men and women are giving up on their lives from school stress to business problems and to see that in such a modern nation is sad especially when men and women become shut ins.
Also a big problem is to be honest how men/women have lost will to do anything in Japan due to stress of work/school, and also due to apparent lack of parent help, if teen to young adult men/women lock themselves away and become neets that's partially due to the parent, not bashing them but it's truth.
@Sand1998, couldn’t have said it better myself and that’s pretty awesome how you express your home country and keep it real. Hands down the parents are at fault and that’s because of those culture norms of not coming into conflict with each other. They rather apologize and take the blame or avoid discussions if it means not making someone upset. Their lives are all@routine and work that they are almost like machines, they don’t express what they really want out of life and rather not be judged so they continue to do what is expected of them. It’s so sad when you watch anime and see characters that are just the complete opposite of their society.
What u said about them "not coming into contact only to avoid upsetting someone" is so true among Japan it's sad. Doing that just isn't normal behavior if I locked myself up my grandpa (78 year old with cane who fought In 6 day war) would bust my door down then punch me in the face he would too for real, and tell me to get my life together already. And I would agree with him, what's the point of locking yourself up in your room and not getting a job being depressed like in many anime and modern Japan , to me I rather try my damn best at something and see it crash down in failure than to lock myself away being afraid because that in its self is a far worst failure than trying and failing at something since it just means the man/women sees themselves as nothing like what many people in Japan have down to themsleves
@Sand1998, all truth my friend, I hope he next generation of Japanese people can be more open minded and find their own to blend heir culture norms with something newer. No sense that they can’t mix the old with some new for the better of their country and society.
That's exactly my hopes as well, as I really want to visit Japan and see its beauty that it's known for in the back of my mind I know and hear about all these societal issues that it faces and only wish to see them fixed, But as it seems, Now due to the apparent rate of overworking people and not being able to express themselves things just might get bleaker but they still have time to fix what is wrong I can only pray and hope that newer generations like u said would be more open minded than they are now.
