I really hope she was just lazy and got what was coming to her, and they weren't totally out so that you made her life miserable for no reason.
@ThePandaPool , agreed, but I think they tell you when you buy online for pickup which stores have it in stock
@Zurrke, it's supposed to work like that, but it's not a perfect system. Things get listed wrong or stolen items and such.
@ThePandaPool , ye especially when customers put something in their cart, walk to the other side of the store, then decide they don't want it so they just leave it there so inventory gets messed up
@ThePandaPool , Best Buy has struggled with that for years
@Zurrke, I work at Walmart and honestly, the counts are so off that the app will say we have 15 and we actually have -7 somehow.
@ThePandaPool , I mean if they found it online and she had to get it in the store then obviously they had them in stock? Unless I’m missing something lol
@TR8R, you missed the other comments that explain what could happen.
@ThePandaPool , no I didn’t. If she found one online, bought it, and the girl went and got it, then they obviously had at least one in stock. I know that things can be stolen or inventory can be wrong but in this case that clearly didn’t happen
@TR8R, the origional post says "now she has to find it" as though the employee is looking, and it has not yet been found. Thus my origional comment. You like to pick some lane stuff to nitpick.
@ThePandaPool , whatever.
@TR8R, downvote and get nasty. My opinion of you is much improved.
@ThePandaPool , I don’t give a single fúck about your opinion of me. You decided to get nasty first when I was just trying to understand if I was missing something. I clearly was but you decided to be all pompous about me “nitpicking” instead of just explaining my mistake. Now please leave me alone
@TR8R, what?? No you dont get to play the victim here. You do that kind of crap all the time. Whatever man. Try to be nice instead of one of those few djcks that bring down the rest of the community.
@ThePandaPool , Practice what you preach. Don’t pretend you know me or are somehow the virtuous one here.
@TR8R, I've seen your comments enough to know you get nasty pretty quick and without good reason. I'm not saying I'm virtuous, but I am nice to people until they start shjt.
@ThePandaPool , yeah me too. I only got “nasty” with you after you decided to belittle my confusion as “lame nitpicking” like it was stupid of me to ever question you. You clearly haven’t seen many of my comments if that’s what you think, but I won’t try and change your mind. Believe what you like, that is your right. Hopefully next time we interact it’s under better terms
@TR8R, @ThePandaPool, you both suck.
@ThePandaPool , I had a Walmart employee lie to me yesterday. I told her “do you have any non-bundles?” And she said no, besides non-bundle Xbox is the same price as bundle. I told her she has no clue what she’s saying right now. Idiot.
@Paul T, oh stop, you're gonna make me blush...
Modern problems require modern solutions
The problem being when you order online like that the system has to designate which xbox would be picked up. Which does not happen instantly especially if the store doesnt have one in stock.
Wally World manager here, that customer would be waiting a minimum of 4 hours to get the xbox. And that's a big IF it was actually available and in stock. Theres like 3 different systems, and 6 different factors that affect the pick up process.
Maybe they are really sold out and the person just searched for someone else before they came in, if not, get a manager.
Wow, thanks Facebook!
@Suicide Squad Sucks, I do this, as it's frequently cheaper to buy online and pick up in-store
@Suicide Squad Sucks, what’s so unbelievable about this?
@TR8R, the whole "buy it online, in store pickup, there it is" instantly B.S. I can assure you, if the item is OUT, that doesn't mean "order it online, it magically materializes in store!" and if it WAS in the back like that, someone else had ordered it online, and will now be missing their order.
In a nutshell, this whole thing reeks of a "I'm gonna pretend I beat the system!" story that people like to tell, when in reality, they wouldn't have the courage to even approach someone for help, much less argue with them.
@Suicide Squad Sucks, yeah I can see that. I think at the very least it’s weird that the girl she is arguing with would then be the one to have to go pick it up for her, that would be very unlikely
@TR8R, very unlikely, there's a dedicated team for the pick up orders, and it's usually not anyone in the electronics dept.
@Kaji, makes a lot of sense
