You know what I hate more than SAO?
Getting children involved in politics like this. They should grow up and actually learn to form a informed opinion. No doubt there's an adult behind this somehow.
@TheGoogler, exactly, they aren't really involved. It's just using the kids.
@TheGoogler, yeah kids should find out for themselves that sword art online is terrible
@Dephenistrator, it really is sad..if anyone has evidence orcthe right doing this please show me...because i would love to ridicule them!
@MMSieBreeze, hey i think that pushing children in any direction politically is wrong. If a child forms interest and would like to pursue politics then more power to them, but what kids this age do you know who pay any attention to politics aside from hearing their parents opinion and maybe a few remarks from teachers?
@Guy Fawkes, I don't usually comment and I think these kids political opinions probably are largely influenced by their parents or another adult, but I see this general dismissal of young people in politics and I don't like it very much. I knew lots of very political people throughout highschool, are they old enough to form their own opinions? At what point is the cut off?
@CJWJ, Well similarly to the people youve spoken about it was right around sophomore year (10th grade) that i actually looked at anything political other than the skimmed surface that was presented.
So when it comes to whether or not i give any credence to a younger persons opinion i first look at the content of whatever messege theyre puting out, then i look at their age, then i look at their counters if theyre available.
The first thing i see content wise here is meme sign "trump likes SAO" that is admittedly funny but only really imparts the messege "hahaha look i dont like him either guys" which tells me they either dont actually have any issues with his policies or they dont know any reason why they shouldnt like him.
So then i look at the age of the person holding this sign, she looks at best 14. So that puts her around freshman or sophomore age. And those two things together just make in unlikely in my opinion.
@Guy Fawkes, That's fair, but come to think of it I've seen so many ignorant opinions by adults in the past, and I'd bet they also have someone be politically aware guiding their beliefs. I guess the reason I don't like the "they're too young to have their own opinion" argument is that so few adults actually have well formed opinions.
@CJWJ, i completely agree with all of that
Now, now the first half of season one was top tier. Everything after that should be retconned
@Beggar Mugger, yeah i really liked the first story.
@Beggar Mugger, I like how people think they can just pick and choose parts of a show they like and think it's okay and I totally agree everything after that was garbage but the first half was awesome.
@Beggar Mugger, have you seen SAO abridged on youtube? Fvcking amazing man better than the actrual show.
@Beggar Mugger, I really liked the mother rosario arc. Who knew the arc without kirito would be so good and emotional
@Beggar Mugger, gonna be honest, SAO Abridged ruined it for me... it surpasses the original in everyway in terms of writing.
@Beggar Mugger, Then theres also Progressive
Oh god, that’s a damning accusation.
@Fuggles, libelous if you ask me how dare they.
By the time they grow up enough to understand politics, his presidency is going to have been over long enough for them not to care. There will always be new presidents to get upset over.
Good thing our presidents can only be in office for 8 years, unless youre FDR and do a badass 12 years
Likes S.A.O.? Pathetic.
Sao’s are great with Vegemite and cheese, so I don’t blame the president
