Okay so I had the best DS multiplayer experience earlier. I invaded for the first time, found the guy, and for half an hour we went at each other not doing a point of damage. We were too evenly matched and honor bound. Eventually I decided to just leave and I was about to soapstone out of there when all the sudden the guy unequips his weapons. Confused I did the same. Then he stripped off all of his armor. I did too. And for another half hour we just beat the living sh*t out of each other with our fists until I (With a little less vitality) took a fatal blow to my jaw. It was the most glorious honor battle in history.
@The Crooked Man, for a second I thought you meant a nintendo DS
@The Crooked Man, That. Is. Awesome.
@The Crooked Man, I was paying DS 2 and I kept summoning invaders while I was naked and only had an electrified work hook +10 equipped that still only did 40 damage.
@Schnitzletitzle, Dude in DS2 my buddies and I set up an invasion gauntlet. One friend summoned me and my other bro and we all stood on different floors of a tower. Then we summoned a dark spirit and made him fight each of us as he ascended the tower and we starched reward and healing items for them between the floors for each of us that he beat... It was so great.
@The Crooked Man, Sounds awesome. One time me and some random dude fought 3 or 4 times since I was staying in the same area and he was invading people who'd switched too many covenants. Each battle took like 10 to 15 minutes b/c we each were primarily heavy shield and armor builds with greatswords and stuff. I love DS2 so far...
@ExocutionerSmough, something similar happened to me. I was in the Kilm and just fighting for fun, summoned in someone to duel. They beat me, I come back, they summon me in for a duel. We go back and forth for about 20 minutes just summoning each other. At one point I tell them I'm on my last humanity. They drop me 50. To finish our fights we did the same things. Randomly mid fight we both got the same idea and started unequiping armor as we took a hit until we were naked with just fists. I won only because I had wolf ring on.
The Darkroot Forest... where honor goes to die.
@Gestalt BumWizard, You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy
@CourageDaCowardlyDog, The 3v1 gankers at the Kiln are worse for me. I like the Forrest for some 2v2.
@King Vendrick, If you have dark souls 2, the worst is the mirror knight boss. He can summon people during the boss fight and I always seem to get the op mages.
@CourageDaCowardlyDog, I hit em with ridiculously OP pyromancy before they can even move, and go in there with a phantom.
@King Vendrick, Firestorm is my favorite, but im using a strength build and everytime I pvp its a magic guy, it gets annoying.
@CourageDaCowardlyDog, Str build here too. Flame Swathe works wonders against a sorcery casting. Also, get Chaos Storm over Firestorm.
@King Vendrick, Where do I get that?
@CourageDaCowardlyDog, Iron Keep. One of the iron chests in the lava.
@Grim Encounter, I dont know if you are referring to the town or something else?
I wouldn't mind more dark souls uploads *hint hint*
Well that's not jolly cooperation
Anyone else here currently play dark souls two and get that your head chewed of by that big fvcker at the start?
@TheStickOfTruth, I'm more humiliated when he sits on me :|
I keep watching it over and over. It makes me laugh harder and harder
Hey hey hey. It's okay. A potato on the way!
My boyfriend has this game... Now he is afraid of turtles...
I don't like blighttown... It sucks.
@WannaBeGeddyLee, If the framerate was a little better...
I think "Fus Ro Dah!" Would be applicable here...
@Ace Ventura, this is dark souls. Fus ro dah is skyrim
Such hate. Bad comment. Wow :(
@Ace Ventura, uses wrong game reference that makes no sense, then uses overdone unfunny doge meme... really man?
@Ace Ventura, skyrim is for casuals, DS is for people who literally have a fetish for watching people die.
@Ace Ventura, how do you even make a mistake like that?
@Gooseman, then makes comment about the fact that a crap ton of videos like this would have taken this, applied the intro audio to Skyrim "In their tongue he is dohvakiin, dragonborn, FUS RO DAH!!" And it would have been funny. But no, everyone apparently thought I couldn't distinguish between Dark Souls and Skyrim. I know this is Dark Souls. I've felt the pain of a thousand deaths from Havel. I just thought I'd make a funny. Apparently people think I'm stupid though. They're both great games. Love you all.
@Ace Ventura, never thought of you as stupid, skyrim is casual nonsense which should never ever be related to the gloriousness that ia Dark Souls.
@AxylAndFreya, After playing Skyrim with mods, I had such an easy time coasting through Dark Souls.
@CriTiKa1, lol I only played skyrim on 360 and ps3. I miss my level 81 dark elf though..
@AxylAndFreya, On PC, there are mods that can make Skyrim a living hell. Makes it more fun.
@CriTiKa1, nice, might have to get a pc that can play it, skyrim on hard was way to easy after a bit
Finish the sentence when you try to act cool but
atleast its not blight town

Dark souls PvP in a nutshell.
Also is there a way to get good armor fairly early on? I keep getting slaughtered by the minotaur boss right after the thieves.
@AxylAndFreya, go to forest, open the door with the Crest of Artorias. Sprint to the left and hug the cliff. Enter the busted stone bridge where the cat covenant leader is and sprint across. Go down the two flights if steps and wrap around the building to the left. There will be a secluded chest with Stone Armor in it.
@Ace Ventura, that the door behind that lightning mini boss near the blacksmith?
@AxylAndFreya, yes, that's called a titanite demon. Once you get past him you follow the path to the door with the glowing orb on it. You need 20,000 souls to by the Crest of Artorias from the blacksmith. The wall next to the door that's glowing can be hit to reveal a hidden bonfire.
@Ace Ventura, awesome thanks, I beat the Titanite Demon by getting it jammed in a fallen pillar on the stairs and I hit it from below, I just kinda got ambushed by the treant thing behind it.
