@PunnyBaker, I'll take your word on it
@Bean the Dynamite, a communist who lead revolutionaries in Argentina. Lots of people who don't know much about him wear his face on shirts because they idolize him.
@Bean the Dynamite, Che Guevara man, you know the legendary Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, guerrilla leader, diplomat, and military theorist.
@x2 6x 9 lol, don't forget mass executioner and labor camp leader!
@Bean the Dynamite, The Trotsky to Castro’s Lenin
@spongeblade, I don’t know anything about all that. I just did a quick search and mixed it with the starlord line.
@x2 6x 9 lol, ah, I dont quite recognize the starlord quote. But Che's is a popular face on shirts worn by lots of people because they think he was a hero. But he was a vicious and bloody revolutionary that setup "labor" camps and executed anybody that wasn't on his side of the revolution. He has several quotes essentially saying "it doesn't matter if they really deserved to die, it just matters if their death was beneficial to our revolution." He also advocated against free press to control the narrative, which he succeeded in part because he's viewed as a hero vs the villain he really was.
@x2 6x 9 lol, doctor professor patrick?
@spongeblade, and he died in an ambush.
@Che D Lay sir, He didn't die in the ambush, he was wounded and later executed by firing squad.
@spongeblade, which is exactly what these modern “revolutionaries” will do if they get their way here in the US. Anyone that capitulates now will be first up against the wall.
@spongeblade, Yes, Che Guevara killed a lot of people.
'Che' is the Argentinean word for 'friend,' it is his given nickname because that is what he called all his associates.
Che fought class-struggle in numerous countries, even reaching a failed expedition in the Congo. He mostly targeted Western foreign influences to uplift countries, while dealing with local limitations and politics that his enemies couldn't fathom. He fought the 1st world order, an injustice, and did so mostly successfully - becoming a rare martyr against western interests and Capitalism that feeds off 3rd world atrocities to this day, he helped millions on millions in doing so.
Go study who Che was killing before you blindly judge the act of killing, especially Americans should get this, considering their history and international position on violence.
@Factory BOY, Hitler fought Western influences keeping post ww1 Germany in economic depression, an injustice. This made him an icon against fighting evil Capitalistic nations. He only removed the evil bad people and killed them and that lifted millions of Germans out of poverty.
Think that sounds like propagandized bs to excuse mass murder? Because it is, and it's the same type of "facts" you just mentioned. Che the "friend" murdered his own people if they were the slightest inconvenience to his revolution. Dont blindly believe the propaganda you've been fed. Go study who Che killed, the "good" and the bad things about him and you might realize what a monster he was to the people he was supposedly "helping".
@spongeblade, Hitler is like a freedom fighter? That's a dumb analogy. The people who stopped Hitler also fought systematic oppression through the rape and murder of Germans, are they evil?
I did study who Che killed, and he did so with the motivation of economic liberation from people who happens to be Capatilists and are exploiters.
You are using naive anti-violence rhetoric to criticize Che, when Americans are perfectly willing to invade and kill over oil, or zone strike areas internationally over local politics. How is warfare for independence so evil then?
It seems to me like you were just brought up in an environment where anyone against America must be evil.
Some countries celebrate their independence day thanks to Guevara, feels like that should be relatable to Americans who enjoyed their independence by having killed foreign influences
@Factory BOY, You thought my analogy of Hitler was stupid? That was the point. You are doing the same propagandized bs for Che, but you actually believe it. If you ever did "study" Che, you only read surface level propaganda that ignores the fact he murdered his own people. People he was supposedly "helping" he executed simply because they didn't fit his narrative. Thats not some "naive pro American" viewpoint, its simply im against summary execitions for innocent people. Enjoy living in ignorance.
@Factory BOY, you’re cherry picking and making wild generalizations to defend Che Guevara? He was a mass murderer. As are all communist dictators. Gtfo with promoting communism. It is the worst idea in the history of the world. This has been proven, repeatedly.
