Phone dryer in Walmart
Reminds me of my girlfriend. Her box has been dry for years.
@TheMasterBaiter, That's why she comes to me... pun intended
@TheMasterBaiter, who's fault is that?
@TheMasterBaiter, I thought it was because you stuck your phone in it
@TheMasterBaiter, my wife has had a dry box ever since I put a ring on her!
@Gnarkilljboy, have you tried talking to her about it?
Works fvcking miracles
@carguy25, yeah, I have. I think that's the reason she dries up!
@Gnarkilljboy,hmm... that's not how that should work.
Have you tried random chocolate and random flowers?
Maybe occasionally "accidentally" left out lube and or condominiums?
That may jump start it
@carguy25, last time I left out chocolates and lube, I woke up with chocolates up my lubed up bum, and she took the condominiums!
PS you're ruining my jokes!
@Gnarkilljboy, XD hmmmm you may just need to turn it off and on again
If it continues to malfunction
Lock her in the kitchen and get to a safe place
@carguy25, I tried kicking the tires.
@Gnarkilljboy, but did you remember to light the fires?
@carguy25, I ALWAYS light the fires!
@Gnarkilljboy, have you tried dumping exorbitant amounts of money into a hobby and having it take up all your free time?
@carguy25, yeah... Apparently my hobby was three kids.
@Gnarkilljboy, dam I got nothing then
@carguy25, welcome to married life!
@TheMasterBaiter, you act like that's a joke on your girlfriend but really it's a joke on you
@Jersey girl1024, no the jokes on you cause I don't have a girlfriend. Hahahahaha
@TheMasterBaiter, it sounds like the joke is still on you
Get a vacuum pump (new one from the Harbile Fright is $60US) and a vacuum chamber. (Build one from an old pressure cooker or buy a small vacuum chamber or repurpose something. An old Kerr jar or literally anything that holds air.) Drill one small hole and braze in a tube. Slide and clamp a hose on tube and connect to vacuum pump. Turn on and enjoy having an awesome vacuum chamber. Defog watches and dry out phones and other electronic equipment. Or have some fun science experiments.
PS: Obligatory: put it in some rice and some Asians will come at night and fix it for you.
@mas2de, tried this before! my phone was working the next day and someone left a wok full of chicken chow mein. Unfortunately they must have let my cat out when they came in because I can't find him anywhere
@Your Darkest Secret, *meow chicken chow mein
@mas2de, I'm not sure how I feel about this. Some electronics have warnings about using them above certain altitudes.
@Leprechaun Giant, just don't have the phone turned on, I did some googling because your comment got me thinking, seems there isn't any issue with doing this to a phone
@Leprechaun Giant, most likely just for cooling. You're not using it in the chamber. First thing you should always do when your phone or any (non-water-proof) device gets wet is turn it off and pull the batt. After that the electronics don't give a care about atmospheric pressure.
@mas2de, lol Harbile Fright? Your phone may need some drying out my friend.
@Not him again, Just a nickname for Harbor Freight
@mas2de, or just take it to walmart and use theirs.
@Lowlifesinbowtiez, tough to move my whole experiment shop into their place. I get funny looks
@mas2de, funny looks should make you laugh at least you're not gettin mad and ugly looks.
Or you know. If you drop it in water, don't try to turn it on (it'll fry it) and then put it in rice. 90% of the time works every time.
One time my friend happened to have a chalice of rice, it saved my phone
I took my phone swimming in the ocean by accident. After a month or so, it turned back on and works fine
