This would be funny if it weren’t true
@eleven, If it weren't true we wouldn't joke about it.
@eleven, yet all the CEOs I know work 10x harder than any other employee. And no one ever appreciates it.
@Child Slapper, We’d care if they paid their fair share of taxes instead of manipulating everything enough so they only have to pay a fraction of what they should. Besides most major ceos got where they are by actively stomping on others so why should we feel sorry for them, if anything they’re not suffering enough.
@eleven, that’s a disgusting accusation. You assume that because you don’t have what it takes to become one. You poor victim. I know several who are wonderful people. I know some who are stupid too. But they definitely care.
And clearly you don’t understand taxes either if you think that they don’t pay enough taxes. People in the lower income ranges pay next to nothing. Lower income people get most taxes back. Do some research.
@Child Slapper, First of all, I’m not envious of CEOs. I hate people and being the head of a business would force me to interact with them. What I am is angry with their manipulation of politics and mistreatment for those who work beneath them. Secondly, I’m sure you know some wonderful people. However the fact of the matter is that far too many big companies are run by people who literally have zero empathy, literal psychopaths see Jeff Bezos or Nestle’s Schneider. Superficial charming, backstabbing, and exploitation are so common you could probably count the number of major companies that don’t do them using the plants on Mercury. Thirdly, using off-shore accounts, lawyers, and straight up tax fraud to manipulate how much money it looks like you’re earning is a well known trick by even the common man, not that most people could actually afford to do this. The world of business is rife with corruption and straight up horrible people. Good on you for knowing a few of the good ones.
@Child Slapper, get Bezo’s c0ck out of your mouth.
Divinity: Original Sin 2. Can’t endorse it enough.
@MashedPotato, I heard so many good things vs the first one , and still haven’t played.
@MashedPotato, what are the best parts of it over say Diablo 3? I like D3 due to the stamina system for all characters, not having to worry about potions
@MashedPotato, I got about 100 hours into it and really tried to like it the whole time, but I never could. For being narrative based, I thought the majority of npc characters were profoundly unlikeable, and it felt like your character was constantly being trivialized and condescended by them. I did think the combat and puzzles were very fun, and there was some good build variety, but all of the out of combat interactions and inventory management felt very clunky and tedious to me.
@MashedPotato, looks more like Baldurs gate 3, made by same developers.
@Albatraous, it's not really comparable to diablo 3. It's a turn based co-op crpg.of you like d&d or other turn based games it's the top of its class.
I’d vote for any candidate who’s position would be to fit the us income tax code on a standard 8.5x11 piece of paper. It doesn’t need to be hard
@BigJohnson86, Ted Cruz ran in 2016 on a tax plan that fit 'on a post card'
@Reach4God, and I would’ve voted for him too. I actually did for senate
Its medieval tax evasion at its finest!
@hardlyable, that a uhhhh, fake... gold pile. To confuse the intruders
