Hey, if you bought it, it’s yours. Do whatever you want with it.
@Dongo, I think the issue is people who could really stand to do a bit of walking, are choosing not to making their physical health even worse. It doesn't help those people.
People with disabilities, or old people who can't do a lot of walking.
@Duncan5769, i agree. When I worked retail almost everyone using the powered carts could have walked instead. People with real disabilities usually have their wheelchair because their problems still exist outside of the store
@Dephenistrator, yeah, it's just people keep blaming the government for the high obesity rates, when really it's the choices people are making.
@Duncan5769, i think it's because we live comfortable lives. In the past only the very rich were fat. Most of us don't aren't rationing food and working ridiculously hard anymore because we have modern technology. Now we have to go out of our way to control our weight and people are generally too lazy to do that
@Dephenistrator, you, I like you.
@TheGoogler, well I'm married but if we keep it low key we can go out
@Dephenistrator, only if you dont mind me googling at other people.
@TheGoogler, deal. Hmm.... maybe I should go incognito?
@Dephenistrator, nah, you have to stick out so much that it couldn't possibly be you.
@TheGoogler, okay *goes naked
@Dephenistrator, *slaps on a squidward nose* now you are ready.
@Duncan5769, on top of that, obesity costs the American taxpayer more than cigarette smoking in terms of medical costs
@Duncan5769, they are the types to sue McDonald's for making them fat...personal responsibility seems to be a thing of the past
@Jaws22, that sums it up really well, they are like brats crying that no one told them not to touch the oven after getting burned.... repeatedly sometimes
@Dephenistrator, part of it, that could be helped by government regulations, is that really bad, fattening, sugary foods are much, much cheaper than healthy foods. HOWEVER, that does not change the fact that people should walk if they are able. I️ say this as an overweight person (who has lost 25 pounds this year!), walking is the best, easiest, most effective exercise for heavy folks. Costs nothing (unlike scooters) and has no weight limit. Gym equipment has a weight limit. I️ knew a woman who last 200 pounds just walking. She looked amazing after!
@Dongo, I think a lot of the issue is that some people use those chairs to get special treatment AS IF they were disabled, I️.E. cutting the line at a theme park, just because they want to. People with actual disabilities should have those privileges and not have others questioning them because of the poor decisions of others.
*people who are disabled
What about disabled fat people? Are they disabled because they are fat or are the fat because they are disabled?
@kdogzzs, you can be fat enough to be disabled according to the government so yes.
@kdogzzs, @WelI Obviously, could be both? You can lose a foot because of type 2 diabetes, but you could also be born paraplegic and become fat because you cannot so much exercise and you do not have a naturally fast metabolism
@shnickelfritz, boo. using science stuffs to answer seemingly paradoxical stupid questions.
Back in your day, you'd look like a nazi
Want to hear ankles snap??
