Except korra is a colossal b*tch so who cares
@Lord Cthulhu, well someone definitely didn't like the legend of Korra 😯
@moneyeatnoodles, I'm kinda with him on this one she's a massive tool from how she treated mako.
@moneyeatnoodles, I'm 100% with our Dread Lord Cthulu. The very behavior and attitude we rightfully critized Azula for, Korra is, for some baffling reason, praised for. It is utter bullshiite and there is a reason why so many people dropped The Airbender series and why the shows ratings drastically dropped. It was because it was poorly written, poorly directed and obviously rushed. The fact a lot of the original writers left because Nickelodeon suddenly began to dictate what was and was not appropriate should tell people that the show was flawed from the start.
No one likes Mary Sues. No one should like Mary Sues. Korra is our generations Rey. What made Avatar so special and iconic where its characters. Each one was unique and had their own growth and development. Korra was lazily written and most of the shows other characters were extremely unlikable with few, if any, redeemable qualities. Korra especially. She has 0.
@LaDarkProphet, but just imagine the lesbian r34 we got from the final scene 😬
You realize there would have been lesbian hentai regardless of any forced inclusionary scenes right? We are talking about a cartoon show here... My guy. Is this like... Your first day on the internet? Lemme tell you.
They could have made a great show first and we STILL would have gotten enough R34 hits to backlog the servers. But instead they made a factually mediocre show, imo its actually a shiite show, and we still got a ton of r34 from it so....
What was even your point lol 😂 The actual ruling for Rule 34 is literally, "If it exists, there is porn of it. No exceptions." Thats what rule 34 is. And by no exceptions they mean that shiite literally. They could have made Korra a fing asexual nun with a strict vow of celibacy, severe brain damage and 0 friends and they still would have made hentai about it.
Saying the show being dog shiite is ok because they made korra slightly "bi" is like saying DragonBall GT is ok because Bulla was introduced...
@LaDarkProphet, I was making a joke 😆
@moneyeatnoodles, I for one, and this is just me personally, would rather have had a good or even semi decent second season to Avatar then any amount of lesbian hentai. I would rather have had a even mildly entertaining, not even good but just entertaining, second Avatar season then have all the lesbian hentai in the world. I would make that trade in a heartbeat. I would gladly sacrifice all the fing lesbian hentai in existence for a better second season 😭
(P.S: I know its a joke. Im just being mellow dramatic because I really was hoping the season was going to be good and it so obviously wasn't lol)
@moneyeatnoodles, they made her date Asami because Asami was literally the last main character Korra could have attempted dating
They literally were like "well Bolin and Mako are done, all we got is Asami now"
@LaDarkProphet, how is korra a Mary Sue, if I may ask? To me, she seemed physically strong, but weak when powers were involved. She got her ass handed to her way more than she won. By that logic, aren’t Aang, Katara, and Sokka all Mary Sues as well (Toph is an exception because she trained with the badger moles for awhile, and Zuko because he had formal fire bending training)?
@Pat Myckok, ...
D.... did we watch the same show? Sokka actually got wrecked multiple times in the show and only really got good after getting his meteor sword. Katara was smart but was a weak combatant until she trained in the north pole. And Aaang not only had to develop his bending skills through various mentors but also his actual will to fight and the acceptance of his responsibilities.
Do... you even know the definition of what a Mary sue is? Rey is a Mary Sue. Korra is a Mary sue. Because they did not have to earn their growth and abilities but instead were either just given them or started out with them.
It's pretty clear that you are just unfamiliar with writing tropes, writing cliches, story archs, character development and world building. I lack the ability to explain it to someone who has no understanding of the topic at hand. I suggest you go to YouTube and watch videos explaining the fundamental writing flaws that The Legend of Korra the Mary Sue biitch had. (TBC)
@Pat Myckok, (Fin)
I simply have to admit that I lack the intelligence to be able to explain my position in a way that would help you understand so I refer you to more intelligent people.
But for the record? You seem to be focusing solely on physical development. Which is a massive mistake. A good show has a character develop and grow over time. Not just physically but emotionally AND mentally. Toph had to learn to care and trust others. Aang needed discipline and responsibility. Sokka needed to learn to be true to himself and Katara needed to heal from internal trauma and learn to harness her true self. Good writing is nuanced and has many sides. Korra however is one dimensional. One dimensional characters make good villans and comic relief characters. They make horrible main characters especially in a show that focuses so heavily on personal, spiritual growth. Just... watch some YouTube videos.
@LaDarkProphet, I know what a Mary Sue is. Two disclaimers: 1- I agree with you that last airbender is a better show overall, and 2- I haven’t finished legend of korra yet (just finished season 3). Korra happened upon airbending, I’ll give you that, but she beat the antagonists from seasons 2 and 3 with the avatar state and help from others. Yeah, the characters are weaker in a writing sense (again, as of season 3) but it’s hard for me to call korra a Mary Sue without taking into account aang mastering 3 elements in about a year. Not to mention, the monks prepared aang for the world he was born into and was aware of his mission. Korra was not at all prepared for the world she was supposed to serve and had to bumble around and got into dumb situations
@Pat Myckok, She got into dumb situations of her own volition. Because she is an arrogant, hostile, rude bitch. She constantly picks fights and gets herself into horrible situations. And of course she used the Avatar state. Because she is power hungry and likes using the powers being the Avatar brings. Not using the Avatar state is like One Punch Man not punching.
And... wtf?... Wtf? Wtf do you mean the monks prepared Aang for the world he was born into? He literally found out about him being the Avatar at the last second and lost 100yrs. Thats... Kinda the whole point of the entire fvcking show is him being in a different time and place then he is familiar with. And yes he had to master three elements in a year... But he never mastered them by the end of the show and he only got as good as he did because of great teachers.
Meanwhile Korra was born having advanced level knowledge at the age of fvcking three and was taken in by the council and trained her entire life! (TBC)
That seriously has to be the dumbest thing I've heard from people trying to defend Korra. Because it is just outright 100% wrong. Aang spent most of his life entirely unaware of his powers and his responsibilities until the very last second. And the whole point of the show is him trying desperately to come to terms with it. He literally discovers that his entire people were genocided out of existence and had to travel in a entirely different timeline during a war while being hunted down while only being aided by children.
Korra? Was born knowing three elements and was raised from the age of 3 to be the Avatar. The very first god damn episode has her screaming, "I am the Avatar!" She had every opportunity to learn and educate herself but instead she focused solely on combat and physical training and severely neglected her intellectual and spiritual training of her own accord! She bumbles around because she is a hot headed meat head 😂. (TBC)
@Pat Myckok, (FIN)
This just proves you are either unwilling to argue in good faith or you really do not understand the points I'm saying because your a biased fan boy. Hey. I get it. Korra hentai is great and all. But it doesn't excuse the shows lazy asf writing. Why don't you actually finish the show first and then get back to me?
And stop outright making shiite up. "Not to mention, the monks prepared aang for the world he was born into and was aware of his mission. Korra was not all prepared for the world she was supposed to serve and had to bumble around and got into dumb situations." Is factually incorrect. And is a dumb as hell statement. Who was better prepared? The pre-teen who woke up in a entirely different timeline with only a basic understanding of Air bending... Or the nearly adult teenager who had mastered the three elements while being raised with the advantage of having every master at her disposal and all the education she could ever desire? Stop simping for Korra lol
@LaDarkProphet, I wasn’t simping and don’t watch hentai, I asked a question and you went right for the insults. We watched the same show, but got different things from it. You have your opinions and impressions and I have mine. It’s not that I’m unwilling to argue, I just don’t care enough. You win. Congrats bro
@Pat Myckok, Lol sure. Whatever you say bro. Have a nice day 😊
@LaDarkProphet, 👍🏻 you too
