The anime "One Piece" has a character regarded as Whitebeard, although he doesn't even have a beard!
Who here watches One Piece?
@SuperGoKana, They still haven't explained how Usopp knows Sogeking. *sigh*
@SuperGoKana, what's one piece? :)
@Monkey D Luffy, DAMMIT LUFFY NOT THIS AGAIN
@SuperGoKana, I only read the manga. The anime is way to colorful for me v.v
Who cares about facial hair when your pecks are the size of a mans head?
@Birthday Cake Riot, hey I'll take every piece of manliness I can get
@Birthday Cake Riot, no, in the war when he holds the guy who stabbed him to his chest to show he forgave him (it was a rather touching scene) you could see the guy's head was the size of a single can on his six pack.
@Birthday Cake Riot, and those traps doe...
One piece reference? *Upvotes then goes to cry in the emo corner because of Whitebeard & Ace feels*
This is because in Japanese, they use the same word for mustache and beard (like how we use facial hair) and because it'd be hard to name a pirate with "mustache" in his nickname
The one on the right looks quite disturbing
It's still called beard. Atleast in some other languages than english.

You know a mans badass when his name is white beard yet he doesn't have a beard. And no one questions it.
I think he has a beard "down under"
He should be called whitemoustache
