@Langenator, I think the Weezer is a god of being in on memes. Pork and beans music video is literally just a bunch of those early YouTube memes. Also look to the fact that they made Africa just because someone asked.

@Dephenistrator, they're a cartoon band with a storyline told through music videos. Damon albarn from blur came up with the idea with the artist Jamie Hewel and yes they are pretty good

Gorillaz was the first album I ever owned. Picked it because cartoon characters in a dune buggy when I was a kid. I had great instincts, still one of my favorite albums.

@Yog Sothoth, left eye is white because Murdoc hit him with a car, right is because Murdoc sent his comatose body flying through the windshield of that car a couple weeks later

@NarwhalAssassin, actually they were black because of that. Supposedly they’ve turned whit due to Murdoc’s absence allowing 2D to thrive on his own. At least that’s what the forums and stuff say, but now that murdoc is back I’m not sure
