Yall remember seeing marill for the first time? Everyone I knew called it blue pikachu lol
@YoYoMango, I remember the pokemon nerd magazines called it blue Pikachu for a hot minute lol
@YoYoMango, my friends and I were stationed in Japan with our dads, when we got marill cards with Japanese text, before the movie came out we just called him PikaBlu
@Mag3rPayne, we called him pikablu too
@YoYoMango, the Blue Pikachu is The sexual act where while penetrating anally, you take jumper cables connected to a car battery, and at the moment of orgasm, you hitch the jumper cables to the females nipples and yell PIKACHUUUUUUUUU. The electricity should cause the asshole to tighten massively around the penis, causing unbelievable tightness.
@YoYoMango, or when Misty gets togepi
But hooh in the first eposode?!
I am proud to say me and my friend we’re the only 15 year olds in the theater along a ton of 9 years old who sucked at the games
@megamanx181x, you had a friend?
@seeUpee, several actually!
@megamanx181x, wait, you're in your 30s? I assumed you were maybe a little younger than me.
@18bluecat, 35.... I know I act so immature for my age lol
@megamanx181x, doesnt matter I still got the movie collectible card(s) I got like 3 from my various viewings.
@Runnin with scissors, I still have my togepi card! There’s a huge figurine warehouse where I live that has a Pokémon card shop, and these guys have brand new sealed in the boxed Pokémon the movie cards
I'm not sure if it was worldwide but they gave out a Mewtwo card with the movie tickets in Australia. It was a holo and I was so happy when I got it
@Dubiousness, I think this was worldwide. They did something similar in the US but with the Ancient Mew card instead.
@EnteiLord, yep I remember getting that gold tile thing of the ancient new card. It was actually like a piece of plastic but tinted gold or something.
@George Feeny, I thought the gold tile piece was given out in kids meals at Burger King?
@Heywood Jablomi, hmmm that could be now that you mention it.
@George Feeny, they came in pokeballs if I remember correctly
Then Pikachu beat it woth an electric attack even though he's ground type, therefore, immune. Bullsh!t.
No one was ready for what was dropped.
Legit messed me up the first 10 minutes in.
I thought it was called Pokemon: The Movie.
Clearly it’s a mutated Taurus no need to call attention to it’s birth defects!
I remember not being able to figure out how the hell to get Togepi for the longest time in Gen 1. Same with Ho-oh. Figured there had to be a way to get them.
