If they aren’t offended ... why do you have to be a twat waffles and force me to feel offended? It’s their race and history they can make their own choices
@DrSin, people want something to fight for
@DrSin, it seems the argument comes down ethnoctrism. So the individuals culture/subculture believes it is wrong so they tell someone of a different culture/subculture it's wrong and they should correct their ways. Most likely the individual feels they are so "woke" and their way is the objective "right way" that the other person must be oppressed and needs to become "woke" themselves. There may be cases where people are in fact ignorant of their on oppression (ex North Korea), but others where it is more on the individuals within the culture/subculture to actually determine if their being oppressed (ex Hijabas in Islam) or objectified (ex Race Fetishization vs Race Play). They seem to want to fight against stereotyping which can create preconceived notions about people and alter how we treat them, while not understanding there's ambiguity to when things are ok and not ok.
@SatansAdvocate, but what if the individual's culture doesn't permit making an ass of oneself?
@DrSin, it is the epitome of american privilege to tell people of other countries how they should feel, or how their own culture works. It's like we are stupid, and require assistance from their woke self.
@DrSin, you don’t understand the power of over educated white sjw women! I keep trying to upload a meme but it gets rejected by the sensitive admin
Am I missing something or is white censored?
@Dimir FTW, I was thinking the exact same thing
@Dimir FTW, white is the most offensive thing you can be these days
@Dimir FTW, On some sites (namely FB), you can get temporarily banned for certain words like white, men, black, trans, etc.
Don’t assume things for other people, they have voices and will let you know
@megamanx181x, I think we have a word for people that assume things solely based on skin colour.
@That one lurker, a racecar driver?
@megamanx181x, without white sjw’s being offended on others behalf, we wouldn’t have anyone being offended by practically anything.
@big freedom, this..... REEEEEEE!!!’
I know this hard for overly sensitive people to understand, but some people actually enjoy being offended.
@Whole Inn Juan, it’s the highest form of enlightenment, being offended on others behalf. They have made a career out of it. The professionally aggrieved.
I mean you can explain why something would be considered racist to someone who might not understand. Whether they got offended by it is their choice.
A user named MermaidaCola downvoted this pic at least 50 times. If you don't believe me check out their funnyism profile.
People need to stop being offended for others. It pretty much removes people's individualities and just puts them in groups based on race, ethnicity, or gender, whatever, expecting you to act like every single person in that group just because you are part of that group.
Context: Avril Lavigne song title "Hello Kitty". That is what this little controversy is about.
I'd rather them be kawaii than imperialist.
Why do people think that history has to always be serious and never fun?
