I had a person ask me if we were open as I was walking to my car (store lights were off, sign read closed, and door was locked).
I had a woman fall over in dramatic despair because we were closed and she couldn't buy a cheap plastic bracelet.
Worked in a restaurant for a few years where the doors weren’t locked until 20 minutes AFTER we closed. If we closed at 9 and you get there at 9:15 we would turn the whole kitchen back on just for one person.

Me and my friend went out to a small local restaurant we thought was open for another hour or so,but turns out we got there about 10 minutes before closing. The two employees left stayed late for us, which must of sucked but was super nice of them. Me and my friend both tipped them each 20$ probably the nicest waiter and cook ive ever met
