Ok, let's keep this ignorant 2015 Facebook bullcrap outta here. This is not true in the slightest. Look this sh!t up before spreading ignorance.
@Darkblaze, absolutely correct. Pack leaders LEAD the pack. The one in the back is most likely the weakest.
@Darkblaze, m8 fak off with the h8, alls I gotta do is go ask those wolves if this post is true. And that'll settle that.
@Darkblaze, but that's pretty much all this person posts
@Darkblaze, bummer. I really wanted this to be true cuz it's cool. Damn fake news...
@Fun Facts 101, I'm not even sure wolves have alphas.
@Darkblaze, It doesn't even make sense! Why would the weakest ones be pushing through the snow? This bugs me every time I see it.
Sandpeople always ride single file to hide their numbers
This isn't true for wolves but any time I've gone hiking with a group on an overnight backpacking trip this is how we hike the slow lead so we don't leave them behind followed by some of the more experienced ones the rest kinda just follow behind then who ever is the most experienced or leader is in the back to make sure everyone is ok -_-
Caribou (or elk, I can't remember) are just like that. Except the dominant female is in the front, find an area with food. While the dominant male is in the back to make sure everyone is safe
@king of sharks, how can a source be posted for something that isn't true?
@king of sharks, http://www.snopes.com/wolf-pack-photo/
@Pubmarine Shamwich, I mean, how do they know it isn't true...proof that this isn't how they operate 😕
@king of sharks, because there are people who study canid behavior in order to appropriately provide habitat and sanctuaries that suit their needs
@LawyeredApe, that's where I was trying to get.. I'm not an expert on wolves but saying something is false on the internet doesn't merit trust in the fact. That's all.
So what happens when Mr. Alpha's charges just bolt in a forward is direction? Is he supposed to chase them and their head start down?
In the military: the tall people are in the front leading the hikes, while us shorties have to pretty much run to keep up
Yeah allot of this "pack mentality" stuff was created by watching a couple dozen wolves in captivity.
"Don't worry soldier, we'll be right behind you"
"35 miles behind us"
How many times do I have to know this?
Read - Leaders Eat Last - by Simon Sinek.
@BadNeus, it's fake.
This is eye cancer candy.
Does that mean being suicidal makes you a leader?
