Single off duty SAS soldier stops terrorist attack in Kenya
I read up on this after seeing the memes. This dude is an absolute badass
@Fuggles, what did he do?
@Fuggles, please do tell
@TheStarHawk, he’s an SAS operative who was down in Kenya training the soldiers how to handle terrorist situations. During his off hours he went down to the pub and while there he heard gunshots. Turns out a group of terrorists had just stormed a hotel nearby and were killing civilians and setting off car bombs. So this dude shows up in a button up shirt and jeans, grabs a rifle, pistol, and a vest and goes into the hotel alone. While in there he’s seen escorting civilians to safety before singlehandedly killing each of the terrorists except for one who blew himself up with a bomb vest. This dude saved a ton of lives.
@Fuggles, And that man was Bruce Willis.
@Fuggles, a real action hero
@Fuggles, damn, that's brave and skilled dude. That's also gonna make more people want his training
@Fuggles, Cut the bullsh*t, he didn't do anything singlehandedly. He was aiding the Kenyan forces with evacuating civilians. He definitely did not kill everyone by himself, the whole standoff took 20 hours. He did receive the british medal of honor for it.
@Liquid Stuff, hes the only one who went inside
@Liquid Stuff, every single article I’ve read on the matter has said you’re incorrect.
@Fuggles, then you should stop using reddit or youtube as newsource. Here take your pick:
@Liquid Stuff, I Googled the man and read all of the articles that popped up Though if you want to go through life being a condescending dick, you can go right ahead.
@Liquid Stuff, I’ve seen articles that say conflicting things, but being so eager to exclaim “he didn’t do a single thing by himself” and downplay an absolute hero, while simultaneously finding a way to berate someone else, really comes across as needlessly aggressive and condescending.
@Liquid Stuff, I mean it’s still 100% more than you would have done.
@Fuggles, What's the man's name so I can read up on him?
@The Science Stooge, nobody knows. SAS operator’s identities need to be kept secret for security and safety reasons. Although if you want to read up on him, Liquid Stuff’s given some links. Or look up SAS hero.
SAS: "Missing fvckin' Eastenders for this shjt."
The SAS are so fúckin' kickass, from how they train to their uniforms themselves, it's a major part of me purchasing an avon fm12.
Violence is not the answer.
It is the question.
And the answer is yes.
This is like 007 status but better
Thanks, Little Duck.
