If y'all don't have anyone to talk to, hit me up. Or most of the lovely members here. We're here for each other.
Edit: I say this because I get it. it's not easy reaching out to people you knos in real life. sometimes a stranger is just better.
See the thing about this is that it actually makes things worse, you’re feeding a negative cycle. I’m all for getting help and talking about it if that’s what you need but the negative and pessimistic jokes imposed on oneself actually hurt not only the creator but whoever sees said content. Don’t just take my word though, look into the science and everything behind this and you’ll see that it’s basically just continually kicking yourself while you’re down. Get help and talk things out if you want but don’t hurt yourself while making memes and then go and shove that hurt or negativity onto other people even if that isn’t your intent, that’s what happens.
@PowerRabidSnail, people spread negativity in other ways and forms. Humans need to fix themselves. dont wanna seem as if attacking. just saying we constantly spew out negativity and kicking yourself while down. q
I get depression. Talking about it doesn’t really help. It puts a band aid. Doing something helps way more than “exposing” or “discussing”. Discussing only helps when advice is followed, clarifying your perception, not enabling bad behavior (staying bitter or angry of a situation, substance abuse, bad decisions). But action takes precedence. Working out, getting out of the house, physical activities, cleaning up your home/room, staying away from toxic people or how to deal with them, better yourself, find other activities, minimize distractions like video games or binge watching shows, form structure in your life and schedule activities, doing what you said you would do and sticking to your plans. I had a friend with depression so in order to get him out of the house I tried doing activities with him like Gym or party or just getting together. He would rather stay depressed at home playing games.
@MrTrivia, video games help for some. It helps me but i dont play them.
@Cuactemoc4919, video games are a distraction. It doesn’t help anything. It’s just a band aid. That’s like saying that you’re sad because you got fired from work hence you don’t have any income now and that games will “help”. They don’t. They just provide temporary relief. That’s not help. Help would be a friend or something that would help you in getting a job. Unless you’re going to be a game tester. In which wouldn’t help in the long run since it doesn’t pay much.
@Cuactemoc4919, oh and I play games. All day all the time with my buds. Siege and Apex for now.
I’m not depressed because I have no one to talk to. I’m depressed because my life is filled with pretty much nothing but unpleasantness and I’m actively looking forward to it being over.

Mass communication is not necessarily needs based, it's one way communication to many, and your reasons could range from social recognition to personal vanity or agendas. This comic artist is projecting their personal reasons, letting loose a freudian slip of their good intentions
