I have a black cat named Edgar. He is quite possibly the coolest cat on the planet. I had to give him two to three baths one day when I accidentally put on the wrong flea medicine on him. He literally just sat there in the tub, no scratching, biting or even moving. He is just an awesome cat. fyi NEVER put dog flea meds on cats, it can kill them!
