That’s some next level will power
Joke’s on it, that trick isn’t going to work the second time, and the thing that make them extinct in the first place was a cyclical phenomenon.
Tl;dr: these birds are screwed.

@Good Guy Satan, lol
Are dinosaurs next?
Kind of, it's not the same bird but a similar offshoot came back after a flooding period ebbed
@Dephenistrator, that's.....kinda how evolution works
@Not him again, yes but this is another species that shares ancestry with the same bird, and is not the same bird species. The similarities are amazing but there are still significant differences notably their sizes are very different. Essentially, this bird didn't come back, another relative in it's species family filled the niche hundreds of years later with similarities though not the identical species.
@Dephenistrator, so basically how our ancestors (I cant remember which came first, homo erectus I think) kinda filled the niche as Neanderthals died out?
@Not him again, yeah, that's alot closer of an analogy. I have heard some think we killed them off, but that's just as much evolution as anything else.
@Dephenistrator, this conversation happened last time this was posted, and I'm pretty sure last time everyone ended up agreeing that the differences are so marginal that there's really no reason to classify them differently, what with them being identical in every way except for about 1% of their genes. Saying they don't count as the same species because of a genetic difference that small is like saying you don't think albinos count as the same species as humans, except there's a larger difference between people with and without albinism then there is between this bird and the bird that went extinct shortly beforehand.
@Marida Cruz, are you sure they are 1% different exactly or just going off the mentioned traits? Here's some tiny percentages that make a big difference to think about.
Genetic difference between a human and a
Another human 0.1%
I think what happened here was pretty cool but to say the same exact species just came back was inaccurate and bothered me so i looked this up after seeing the first one and it was over sensationalized.
