Hey, that's me!
Gotta love having hobbies that don't involve social interaction
@Chuck Shurley , fvck that, cook outs and house parties!
@MMSieBreeze, seen my grandparents every other weekend, still here with us. Then my grandpa got the jab and had an unexplainable stroke...weird coincidence im sure.
@Mag3rPayne, strange how nature works isnt it?
@Mag3rPayne, my dad's about to get the 2nd one and Im pretty spooked about it...I mean if someone needs it it's him because he has COPD and is almost 80 but it still scares the crap outta me that something will go wrong
@Nekozombie, I wish him well.
@MMSieBreeze, I ain't coming to your cook out unless I can get a take home plate.
Mothers day tomorow!
Yeah, spreading a pandemic is so rebellious and cool. I wish I was hardcore like that
@Jeremy Williams, if you're scared stay home, but I'm an American so I'll take freedom over fear
@officercoolguy, it's not about what I'm afraid of, it's about not being such a selfish codpiece that I can't make sacrifices to avoid killing people
@Jeremy Williams, lmao bad ass right here. How can you type with all the bubble wrapping you have on?
@officercoolguy, *Unmasked eagle screeches in the distance*
@Hockman9, caring about the people around me is bubble wrap? Kinda just sounds like you're a selfish twat
@Jeremy Williams, Any society that gives up a little freedom to obtain a little safety, deserves neither and will lose both.
@Th3M1lkman, ah so having TSA and police telling me I can't steal means what exactly? Cuz that's a loss of freedom for security too
@Th3M1lkman, I'm very sorry you feel your freedom is being compromised in an attempt to keep people alive.
Unfortunately for you, you freedom to swing your arm ends where my nose begins. When your choices affect others, that's no longer your freedom
@Jeremy Williams, If me living my life and not wasting away in my home is the equivalent of swinging my arm around then maybe you should stay in your house where its safe rather than stand next to the guy 'swinging his fist around'
@that anime guy, bruh, so long as you aren't harming or controlling people or their property, you should be able to do whatever the hell you want. If I had covid, I would quarantine. Since I don't have covid, I'm gonna do whatever I want and you can't stop me.
@Th3M1lkman, I ain't trying to stop you tard, but if you can be arrested for drunk driving on the basis that it is a reckless endangerment of others lives then this is no different. Same with seatbelts being required. Tell the government to fvck off by risking your life not wearing a seatbelt instead at least others won't die for your lack of forebrain
@Jeremy Williams, the pandemic so deadly you need to be tested to know you have it. Vaccines so effective that they require other people to get them or yours won't work.
@Th3M1lkman, here is an excerpt from Jacques Attali, the book is called Verbatim vol. I, a member of the the bilderberg group, "The future will be about finding a way to reduce population...Of course, we will not be able to execute people or build camps. We will get rid of them by making them believe its for their own good... We will find OR cause something, a pandemic targeting certain people, a real economic crisis or not, a virus affecting the old or the elderly, it doesn't matter, the weak and the fearful will succumb to it. The stupid will believe in it and ask to be treated. We will have taken care of having panned the treatment, a treatment that will be the solution. The selection of idiots will therefore be done by itself: they will go to the slaughterhouse alone." Now after reading that you can understand that a sheep spends its whole life afraid of wolves, yet its the shepherd that takes its life in the end.
@Jeremy Williams, LOL @ "Living in fear". It's not living in fear, it's using a modicum of caution appropriate for the situation.
@Funny Pics Janitor, yes, though I wish you'd replied to the selfish schmucks who ignored guidelines and dragged this out for this long
@Jeremy Williams, Yeah but I've learned that this app isn't the best place for logical discourse. I've had too many flame wars so now I try to avoid direct confrontation and just enjoy the funny.
@Th3M1lkman, I hear ya. Abolish the police.
@officercoolguy, people like you are also terrified of the vaccine yet “not living in fear” nah, ya’ll just don’t get science
@Jeremy Williams, Its called herd immunity idiot. If all the strong healthy people get a disease that theyll survive then stay away from people who are at risk. Then the at risk people are less likely to get it, but whatever who cares as long as you can morally grand stand and virtue signal about how much you care.
@Jeremy Williams, somebody else's health isn't my responsibility, also the mortality rate for covid is literally less than 1% so excuse people that just wanted to live life.
Now if it was something like Ebola I could understand the shut downs, except wait, that happened under the last presidency and nobody seemed to care. Ebola has a 50% mortality rate but we didn't shut down when we had an outbreak of that, but I'm an a**hole because I'm not worried about something comparable to the flu
@CocoasBro, yeah, clearly you have no idea how herd immunity works, you're just parroting the moronic screeching you've heard from people who agree with you politically. For herd immunity, you need 95% of the population to become immune to something. In a little over a year, we've seen no fewer than 3 mutations and numerous reinfections. So you really want herd immunity? Get vaccinated.
@Jeremy Williams, the reinfection rate is small, asymptomatic spread is exceptionally small. They changed the definition of herd immunity because people like you will eat it up and attack anyone who goes against it.
@Jeremy Williams, no you clearly have no idea how herd immunity works if you think that how often it mutates is a factor in how effective herd immunity is. As long as the majority of the population can survive the disease herd immunity is effective. Which for covid who isnt 70+, immunocompromised, or dying currently from something else you basically have almost a 100% chance of survival. And imagine thinking 3 different strains on a flu virus is uncommon. Its very clear you havent thought critically about this subject.
@Th3M1lkman, You’re an idiot. You can’t tell if you have covid for weeks after exposure you moron, that’s why EVERYONE needed to quarantine and anyone who didn’t is a stupid selfish piece of sнit that doesn’t give a fuсk about other peoples safety.
@officercoolguy, Ebola didn’t spread to the whole world you fuсking moron and mortality rate is not the only factor that determines how dangerous it is. It can cause damage to your organs for the rest of your life if you survive it and you can more easily die in the future after that. That’s why it’s so dangerous on top of the fact that you won’t know you have it until you’ve already exposed several people. That’s why anyone who says “i’ll only quarantine if I get sick” is a moron who has no idea how this works.
People who downvote need to realize, that these antibody tests are being used to manipulate you. A positive result doesn't necessarily mean you have covid19. It means you tested positive for a c19 or any virus from a similar family. If you lost a family member im sorry, but stop appealing to authorities who tell you the test result is all they need to write it down as a covid death. You dobt care that they keep changing definitions to keep us in pandemic status? Or to say that we haven't reached herd immunity? Live in fear forever, but the same peoe who tell you to be scared are laughing when they are not on camera. Gov. Whitmer and her health officials came down to party down here in FL, maybe some of you should too.
@Mag3rPayne, bro i literally worked in a covid lab like a month ago, that shjt isn't true at all, the most common and effective qpcr tests are based on genes specific to c19, have you read a science paper on the subject?
@that anime guy, you are correct, in the above statement i meant the antibody tests, but PCR tests can still test positive for dead virus and not a live infectious patient. what were your cycle rates?
@Mag3rPayne, I don't remember the exact numbers but we were thinking the perkin elmer test so as long as it was fewer than 20 ish cycles you were positive. Can't speak on antibody tests but qpcr has been the standard for diagnosis since it became reliable last may ish. Perfect hardly but hey considering the short notice it worked dang well
Colleague: “How did you deal with covid?”
Guy: “I avoid Liberals and I don’t watch tv.”
That essential worker life
So then do it…
I won't deny their effectiveness, but you could see how they can be abused. Either through malicious intent or negligent over-cycling, you can create a perception of a wave of positive case results. This was discovered to be the case, even fauci admitted that some labs were cycling at 40+, and now that all labs are cycling lower, OMG, were supposed to be surprised at a downward trend in cases. Now we are supposed to believe that is due to an effective vaccination program and not correcting a testing procedure.
