Yeah I've been thinking about the Clark Kent disguise, seems reasonable, actually. How many times have you looked at someone and thought "oh hey they totally look like that one celebrity" but you're 99% sure it isn't them? All Clark would have to do when questioned would be to respond with "haha, yeah I get that a lot" then clumsily spill coffee or some shjt.
@SimonPetrikov, his Clark Kent personality is 80% of the disguise
@SimonPetrikov, *clumsily punches whole through concrete wall*
Oh haha, silly me
@SimonPetrikov, I think it's more of a forced disguise as in everyone pretends to go along with his disguise because they don't want to isolate him from the rest of the world. I mean, how crazy would you go if everyone treated you like a god without a break to pretend that you are one of your fellow man same as everyone else
@Good Guy Satan, I like that interpretation because it's hopeful and optimistic for the human race, like Superman is
@SimonPetrikov, "What's the S for?"
"On my home planet S stands for Hope."
"Hope starts with an H, stupid!"
@Good Guy Satan, I fvcking love badman but I know it’s stupid but glasses v nonglasses is very different. I didn’t recognize my wife. I mean we have diff schedules but w/es
@SimonPetrikov he also has glasses that change his eye color
@Richard Cypher, yeah didnt he take acting classes to learn how to portray a whimp?
@SimonPetrikov, also people tend to see him from a distance
@Richard Cypher, Clark kent isn't a disguise though... He was Clark kent before he was superman or superboy.
@SimonPetrikov, you could just shoot Clark Kent if you thought he was superman and when the bullet flies off then you know it's him if he dies then whatever it's like with the witches
Here’s the scenario. Your in a world where Superman the comic book character doesn’t exist. So you have no reference to Clark Kent or indeed Superman. And someone says to you one day.
“Hey you know that guy on the news built like a brick house that can throw cars and shoots lasers out of his eyes?” “Well im pretty sure its that nerdy guy with glasses and zero coordination that is shy and constantly gets pushed around or overlooked!”
Theres no one thats going to believe you!! Thats why its so brilliant and why it would most likely work in real life.
Lets not forget when she was a blonde as Jovie in Elf
That’s because those two are not the same person.
Henry Cavill tried to prove this concept too. He stood out in time square under a man of steel sign. Not many noticed. Her then too of his other shirt and had a Superman shirt underneath. Still not many noticed.
Are we going to ignore the fact that that is nick cage in disguise?
I wear glasses and hell, I don't recognize myself without them
