Just to add a little context to the gif, those are mexican cops playing snowball after a severe snowstorm in the region in years, received with both positive and negative critics, mostly negative because they are supposed to be working, helping people after the snowstorm on Police shootout (Upvotes: 35)

@mrgork, Science is all about trial and error, learning from the error is what makes science progress in the desired direction. Error is indeed interesting, since its the basis for progress, but you seem to have the wrong meaning of "theory". A scientific theory is something that is easily replicated and proven, a reality for the scientific community, while a regular "theory" is based in speculation or more likely, an unsubstantiated argument/opinion/event/etc. This unsubstantiated science is better know as pseudoscience, and yes, many people tend to believe it. on Evolution (Upvotes: 29)
