@celtics313131, so, you know how it normally takes a few seconds for your computer to start up. PC's that are well put together and maintained can do this almost instantly. BIOS is short for basic input/output system which is the very bare bones of your computer. Forget windows os or anything like that, your bios let's you communicate directly with the motherboard, processer, etc. You access the BIOS on the start up of your computer (F12) is usually the command and can make some very high level changes. The issue is that if your PC is too good and starts up too fast, it's easy to miss your chance to access BIOS. It's literally a first world problem of computer geeks. on Funny Pics (Upvotes: 40)
