@Paranoid Sushi, I've honestly found that actually writing notes down helps to solidify it into memory. It creates a kind of "muscle memory" for quizzes and the like, especially with Math. The problem is, especially with people like me, it's a gamble as to whether it actually sticks. I'm personally awful at taking notes, but even then, it more often than not helps with remembering the content whereas taking a picture only helps as reference material (which you usually can't use during tests anyway). TL;DR: Actually writing down notes can (sometimes) help to retain the information. Taking a picture doesn't help nearly as much, if at all. on Funny Pics (Upvotes: 14)
