@Dragoon0106, here's the thing, if you think the 2nd Amendment can be done away with, what's stopping the 1st Amendment from being written away? The reason why the 2nd Amendment is even a thing is because our founding fathers literally fought a war to have the freedom they so desired and to keep that freedom realized that letting citizens arm themselves and the government not having the ability to take them away was essential. What's the first thing the Nazis did? Started banning weapons. How about North Korea? Or Venezuela? Or the USSR? Or China? The first thing a tyrant does is disarm the populace. Read. A. @Professor Daddy, the New Deal fundamentally kept the Great Depression going, it did not work and will not work again. The War worked in getting the US out of the state it was in and since the rest of the world was in shambles, American enterprise took over because they were the only ones putting items to market(not being blown up does that for you) so this fallacy of the New Deal working is just that, a fallacy. Dont even get me started on modern money theory and you using a professor to justify your argument. The reason why people teach, theory is better understood than practice and there are plenty of practical instances on why modern money theory is bogus. I graduated with an economics degree, most the stuff you learn in a college are pipe dreams of semi-professionals unable to use the theories in which they teach; whether it's due to the examples being in a vacuum or dont rely on the fact that people are inherently selfish. on Pjss off right (Upvotes: 12)
