So it looks like I'll take a shot at this. If we calculate the areas of each whole Pizza, given the radius is 6 and 7, respectively we come out with Pizza A being about 113 in^2, and Pizza B being about 154 in^2. So, if we divide each by their respective amount of slices (given by the angles, since a circle is 360 defgrees, pizza A will have 6 slices (6*60=360) and Pizza B will have 8 slices (8*45=360)), we come out to 18.85 in^2 for slice A, and 19.24 in^, for slice B. So, for $1.50 you get 18.85 in^2 of pizza, and for $1.70 you get 19.24 in^2. If we divide both areas by their respective price, we can get area/cost (the higher of which will be the better deal) So, as my other comment states, Pizza A will be the better deal on pizza math (Upvotes: 81)
