I'd probably have to go with the sun because of the nuclear fusion taking place. The surface of the sun happens to be about 6000 kelvin. You could imagine that as being pretty damn hot. The core is about 16 million kelvin. The nuclear fusion taking place is creating helium atoms by combining four hydrogen atoms together. This is also the same reason that the sun is so bright. Not of all the reacting mass becomes part of the new helium atom, however. Some of it is converted to energy that goes to the sun's surface. This is in agreement with Albert Einstein's "E = mc^2" equation, which states mass can be converted to ener- wait… I wasn't supposed to answer it seriously was I? *slowly backs away* on Lifes big quesions (Upvotes: 7)
