@JAMAL II, I live in Washington state. I support/ed I-502 (our pot initiative). I've done research on the subject of I-502 (the bill itself), marijuana, and I study psychology. Now "killing brain cells" is kind of a misnomer, as many of those cells won't actually die. Instead connections (synapses) between those cells are severed. There are specific places in the brain that marijuana affects, someone earlier said the hippocampus - that's entirely true. It will affect your ability to recall long term memories and your ability to form short term ones. Also, any carbon (smoke) going in the lungs causes damage, and consequently cancer. Oh and that "not a single person has ever died from simply smoking marijuana" statement is total bullsh*t. No one has ever simply died from getting hit by a truck. No, instead it was all of their organs failing from a massive amount of physical damage that killed them. TL;DR - JAMAL needs to do some research. on Funnyism Picture (Upvotes: 41)
