@Cellembreo, I thought so at first but now I'm not so sure. There's an entire culture in the black community about, "fvck the police." Obviously there is a disparity in treatment in certain jurisdictions across the country with some notable examples. But, with a culture of disrespect for police and statistics showing blacks committing a proportionally high number of violent crime given the population, blaming only police would be shortsighted. We need to address the roots of the crime problem in this country with education (both cops and citizen), treatment and rehabilitation. Not mandatory sentencing, overactive policing and promoting a cultures of hate. Just my views as a criminology student. on Cops (Upvotes: 130)
