@Xenocide, DeadXOnix why are you not instead pointing out that having autism has nothing to do with enjoying an animated cartoon or an anime (an animated cartoon made in Japan)? The Last Airbender is a pretty good TV show and though The Legend of Korra has lots of faults, it is a pretty good show too. (((Your're missing out on some good shows by not watching anime. Shows like Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, and Fullmetal Alchemist are grade-A stuff.))) on Avatar: The Last Airbender (Upvotes: 18)
since all the comments (14) are in that chain let's start a new one over here. I have something worth bringing to the table: "If a single datapoint is out of line then the entire theory is wrong."~SomeScientistGuyOnTV. The 'Theory of evolution is a 'theory' instead of a 'law' because it is still being revised and improved upon as we learn more. It's also hard to flat-out confirm because, unlike "adapting", "evolving" takes tons of time. You know what else is a theory? The Theory of Relativity. Some scientists use that theory all the time but it's factually wrong, something in that theory can't account for everything we see in space and quantum mechanics. The leading fix has come from quantum mechanics, which has tons of holes too. Also I would like to mention that we ARE improving the theory of evolution! I came across a newspaper article months ago that said scientists found a set of five ancient skeletons from around the same time and it- fixed some things. @PersonPerson, The point is: The Theory of Evolution is the most popular scientific theory about how animals and stuff came to be. It doesn't even conflict with religion. The only one it does conflict is the (in my opinion, dumb) 5000 years interpretation from The Bible, which only a small amount of people believe and conflicts with Egypt. Also we are not directly related to monkeys. In the theory of evolution we share a common ancestor (the missing link) but each time it's been found it turns out to be a fake after a while. You should also go watch the "Sci Show" on YouTube because their video about evolution misconceptions is valuable to know. ... Sorry for the long post, but I didn't want this to get out of hand. on This is just a comic (Upvotes: 15)
