Interesting, because according to several sources including national geographic and, "Their length can vary from 8 in (20 cm) to over 3 ft (1 m) with weight of up to 100 pounds (50 kg)". Now don't get me wrong that's still rather terrifying, but nothing close to a 7 ft average. on Giant fish (Upvotes: 65)

@SirTickleTots, *cracks knuckles* alrighty time for a starter edition lesson of Warhammer 40k... The skeleton on the Golden Throne is known as the God-Emperor of Mankind (also known as Big E, my Manly Manperor, Big Daddy Emps the Motherfûcin' Emperor, and space jesus). He WAS the 11 foot tall end-all-be-all of humanity's evolution fast-forwarded through ritualistic mass suicide of shaman's way back in the old days of humanity to combine their soul into the one perfect being known as the Emperor. He single handedly formed a super-duper empire across the stars with estimations placing the total population in the quadrillions with over a million inhabited world's. The doctrines of this empire were the pursuit of science, the rejection of religion, and the destruction of chaos (hell). But then his favorite son stabbed the shìt outta him and now he's a big àss corpse rotting on a hyper-mega-technologically advanced chair which keeps him from truly dying as without his psychic force (pt1) on Necrons (Upvotes: 37)
