Everyone talks about how much Legos hurt us, but do they talk about how we hurt them? on Skelego (Upvotes: 67)
Story time: So I worked as a Walmart Cashier a couple years ago and saw this all the time. One day, a woman came through in a hurry when it was dead quiet and asked if she could come through the 15 items or less with a couple extra. I didn't mind and said sure. It got busy at my till in the next minute with an older woman (mid-70's) getting in line behind her. The older woman started complaining to everyone one about the first customer with 16 items in a 15 item lane. The first woman kept apologizing and felt bad, but I explained they were in a hurry and came when it was quiet. After the first customer left, the older woman was still complaining about the incident, so I counted her items. When it came time to take her items and leave, I said, "Here is your change and your 17 items. Have a nice day". I said it completely sincerely, and the guy in line after her was killing himself laughing. The older woman left in a huff with a scowl on her face. One of my best moments in retail. on Funny Pics (Upvotes: 62)
Everything is possible. Nothing is impossible. Just said in an incredibly dumb way. on Funny Pics (Upvotes: 49)
My grandmother on my father's side is very often quite rude and complains at most things. Countless times she has said horrible things, so relatives have begun to fight back. One of my favourites was when she was mentioning her trip around the East Coast while at breakfast. Mt brother asked if she visited Salem (purely out of curiosity), and when she said no, he replied, "Why? Too many bad memories?". on Funny Pics (Upvotes: 46)
