@pickleSquid, yes it is. This effect is the visualization of what a flash sync issue would look like on a malfunctioning camera. The camera taking the photo is in portrait orientation, and as the shutter was exposing one part of the image (it's moving really fast) the other camera's flash went off, over-exposing the part of the sensor still exposed to the scene. I've had it happen to me on photo shoots when I was learning portrait photography if you try to use a shutter speed beyond what the camera's flash is designed to sync at. *photography lesson over* Have a nice day. on Funny Pics (Upvotes: 66)
